This annual event is held every year on the first Friday in March. This year it is on Friday March 7th. The organisation behind this event is led by Christian women from 170 countries, bringing together many races, traditions and cultures to share in a common day of prayer.

This year the service is the work of Christian women of The Cook Islands. This event is not intended just for women, but is meant as a gift from the Christian women of The Cook Islands to Christians the world over. The theme is “I made you wonderful.” Our local service will be held at St Lawrence Church Brundall at 2pm.

To complement this, we will be holding a morning of prayer, reflection, fellowship and a chance to learn something about this relatively unknown country at Hemblington church from 10.30am until 12.30pm. This will be followed by a simple lunch and end about 1pm, allowing plenty of time for those who so wish to attend the service at Brundall to get there. Everyone is welcome.
